Starting issue when cold.

Starting issue when cold.
Well, My Cabrio its been more temperamental lately than my ex on prozac and PMS. (No disrespect to women ok, its a joke) lol.
Only when cold, I have to shift the gear selector to N so the car can start, but once is fully warm running temp, starts in P.
WTF?
Any one has experienced this?
