infared remote control
hello
can someone help?
My infared remote control for 95 e320 mercedes does not work. the light on the fob does flash and i have tried re programming by using instructions from the manual. but still no luck.
if some one has experienced similar problems and have solved matters please let me know, as someone told me most mercedes infared fobs are the same

hi
what it was when i bought the car of the previous owner he said the batteries are down, i took his word and changed them but still nothing. I have tried what u said, the fob flashes but no alarm is activated and the central locking doesnt work with the fob either.
thing is i dont want to take it to mercedes dealers as you know how much the charges are per hour, and most likely they will charge a bomb to diagnose the problem anyway.
so if there is anyone out there who thinks he knows what the problem is, please can u help
p.s the locks open as normal from the passenger side with the key
