New Front Bumper

I guess i have just bad luck.
Last night i was stopped at a red light and this chick in a nissan who was stopped on the other street started to go and make a right. Well, she didn't make a 90 degree turn and ended up hitting my front left corner. I saved the front quarter by throwing it in reverse when i saw she couldn't turn. But she did hit my bumper and cracked that, along with the chrome strip along the top being bent.

I was wondering where i can get another bumper, maybe even a kit for it cheap.
Thanks in advance.

P.S. ill try to post a pic

Try Potomac German Auto. They sell new bumpers from $275 to $350. The chrome strips and pad is extra. Here's the site http://www.mbpartsonline.com/

Re: New Front Bumper

OK, don't laugh. I recently needed a front bumper for my 1987 300E and did not want to spend a ton of cash on something she might ruin again anyway. I took the risk of ordering one from these folks:

http://www.partstrain.com

I am extremely happy with the new bumper, it is at least as good as the one that came off of the car. The only things I had to do to were paint it and swap the old parts over. And a front bumper for a 1993 400E goes for $148.95 from them! Of course you pay shipping but for me that was only $35.

The chrome piece above the bumper is about $60 a side from the dealer. By the way, since it was obviously her fault, she will be paying for all of this right? I mean its not like she was cute and managed to .... naaaah, you wouldn't fall for that!

As for the 1990 560SEL rear bumper, try www.tristarpete.com. They are good guys and will give you an honest deal.

So was it a good experience buying your bumper from them? Are their parts OEM ? Was your bumper shipped right away or was it backordered? Their prices are really good. I'm looking at the rear impact strip and front passenger's side fender for my 94 E320. Help me out. Thanks !!

Yes, I had a very good experience with them. The parts do not have any MB identifiers on them, but are of excellent quality. I ordered my bumper on the 12th and received it on the 17th, it shipped the next day via UPS. The best part is that I had previously purchased an electric cooling fan from them and they sent me a 10% off coupon via email, so I used it to buy the bumper.
