It's not strange at all that when hot it will start fine after 5min but not after 15min.
And RE the 2.6 m103 it has a completely different injection system you cannot compare HFM and K jet hard starting issues. They function totally different!

Problem solved. Discovered in the end it was the fuel pressure regulator. Ruptured diaphragm causing fuel to leak and not hold pressure in the rail. Fuel would run through the vacuum line into manifold and flood on next warm start. Regulator worked fine when cold but really lost it when warmed up. Replaced. Starts beautifully.

W124 thats great . I to have a little hot start problem .So next fix is the regulator

Yeah i remember you having a similar issue. Before you replace anything check and see if your vacuum line has any fuel in it first. It should be dry. If any sign of wetness then the regulator is bad.
