I'm new to MB, I recently picked up a 94 E420, The CEL keeps coming on. Using the built-in blink box underneath the hood, I get 12 blinks. Haven't been able to find a chart of the codes or really much information at all on that diagnosis system. I took the car to the local dealer and they couldn't even hook it up cause all their systems are newer. 4 Techs literally stood around the car with their phones googling **** lol. The car is running pretty good the only problem is the turning is kinda stiff and there is a whiny noise when I turn. I'm not sure if the code and steering are related. Any help on where to start would be greatly appreciated.

 

Post the three positions of the connectors in which plugs(yes I know one of them is redpower)!!


The whining tends to be fluid level or a bad pump
