Transmission possible
Hello everyone
The most peculiar thing happened to me while I was driving home today. While I started off driving, I noticed that I wasn't able to go beyond 30mph without revving the engine. The car would not accelerate any more. I literally drove at 30 miles/hour for about 45 minutes until I got reached home. After about 45 minutes, I was able to go a little faster, maybe up to 45mph. Because of fear of doing more damage I cruised at a steady 35mph. I've also noticed when I go around a corner, and I slow down and then accelerate my car bucks. Also, my oil pressure is dropping below 1, but not falling low enough for the car to stall. I hoping its not too serious.

I had a similar problem with the transmission a few years ago. Car would not shift out of second gear at times and just rev. It was a simple problem, the transmission fluid was really low. Had it topped up and problem solved.

Transmission oil leaking
While I was waiting to have my tranmission gasket and filter changed, I saw red liquid dripping from the rear of my engine. My mechanic told me from his experience the seal and bushings have eroded. I'm still able to drive forward and backward, se says the pump is still good. Cost for all work seals and bushings, gasket and filter, $400.00.
