Tire size ?!!

Hi every one
i have a 92 w124 sedan and got a new set of wheels
need your help for tire size ...
front is 18" * 8" vossen wheels
and the rear wheel size is 18* 9"
Does any one have experience about tire size with no or minimum rubb?

18" wheels on W124 can be tricky, and whether there is rubbing will depend on the wheel's offset, tire size, ride height (shocks dependent); and you too wish your W124's previous owners have rolled the fenders. There is a lot of info on this forums' Sticky. Check this out.

SPRINGS:
H&R springs, part number 29627-1 which are advertised as a 30mm drop, and have a slightly stiffer rate in the rear springs from the H&R 26-1.

DAMPERS:
Sachs OE replacement (standard damping)

WHEELS:
8-Hole replicas. 17x8, ET 34
Tires are 215/45-17 Continentals.
They're a little too narrow for the rims, so they's just ever so slightly stretched. I love the way the wheels look, but in a perfect world I wish they were 17x7.5 or maybe even 17x7...
