1991 300CE & 1995 E320 Wagon
'92 300TE

Janet and I are looking at a 300TE for sale locally (San Diego, CA USA).

We contacted the seller and are awaiting a response with a VIN#..

Question is: Did '92 (U.S. spec) 300TE's come with the M103 or M104? Though the M103 is a great engine; We own a M104 '91 CE and it would be nice to perform "his & her's" maintenance on identical drivetrains

TIA,

C&J

The 92 300TE had the m103 engine.
The US never had the wagon model with an M104 CIS-E engine like you have on your coupe.

93,94,95 wagon models got the M104 HFM from which 94 and 95 are the face-lifted versions.

The M103 was still around in 93 but only in the 4matic wagons.
