Headlight Mod

Hi guys ..

intro:

im from sydney australia and have been reading these forums for some months now

i own a 1987 W124, with sunroof, clear indicators and smoked back lights, 20% black tints, 18" AMG Wheels.

I would like to have the following mod:

when i put the headlights on i would like the two inner lights(fogs) of the headlight to go on as well...
is there a wiring mod i could do to accomplish this??

Thanks,

spida

I think it's not onlay a matter whether or not the fogs come on, but (and I'm from Germany) it may cause trouble (high way patrol??) driving with fogs on permanently, at least it would over here.
Generally you need to have the circuit diagram of the main light siwtch and try to apply a jumper between "head lights ON" and fog lights ON (just as if the fog light switch would be pulled). To bridge across the lights in the front won't be a good idea because the lights would then draw to much energy through the headlight cables and either blow the fuses and/or melt the cables.

bamberger,

The police over here tend to worry about young drivers with learners and provisional plates on the car as well as high performance modified vehicles.

So its not recommended?!?!
