wiring harness question

I have 94 E320 and just did head gasket job and found out that it has some rough idles and error codes stating coil wiring harness issue as there are bare wires now....
currently installed wiring harness part number is 124 440 4905 and mechanic said i could get 124 440 5632 and there are a lot of used delphi wiring harness from ebay so i hope if someone here can confirm 124 440 5632 will work on my w124.

This question is best answered by a MB dealer partsman IMO.

Do you really think a used harness is the way to go? Un-less you can confirm that is not an original harness from delivery, which are known for failing.

I've seen and experienced that MB dealer provided wrong parts although i have given full VIN and can't deny that they are the still trusted source.
