300CE manual

hey, i have 300ce from 89, with manual gearbox (originally automatic) but i dont know what that gearbox is. never seen that kind of shift diagram, and the reverse is when you push down the shifter.

i guess its some kind of getrag, didnt see any numbers under the gearbox

Look here for Mercedes Manual Transmission. If you cant find any numbers like 717- engraved on the gearbox, it is likely that it is not one originally intended for use on the Mercedes. My manual gearbox came from a W126'. To engage the Reverse gear, I need to lift the gear stick and push far left and down.

is there any site where is gearboxes serial number with shift diagram? in that box you need to push gearstick and move it to far right, below 5.
