Register Your Mercedes-Benz 500E Here if you own one!
Hey Guys,
I been lurking around for a bit and plan on buying a Mercedes Benz 500E (1993) Color is Black Pearl Metallic with a lighter color bottom. Black interior.
I was wondering around and didn't find a section for the 500E (owner section) and figured I would start a thread getting to know members and counting how many cars are on this forum alone.
If you can please list your name here (provided Example) and let us know what year your vehicle is and from what country you are from.

two 92's
Here are my two 500E's, both 92's, one Japan (euro) spec, the other a USA spec
92 - Bornite w/black interior & OZ's, a Japan delivery car, imported from Dubai
92 - Blue-Black w/grey Int, needs euro headlights, paint, headliner and wheels. Mechanical and electrical all redone.
As already pointed out, your best bet for learning and searching for a E500E is the 500Eboard.com forum. All the active members there post E500E's for sale all the time.
There isn't a more experianced group of owners to learn from anywhere. I joined there in early 2014, and purchased the Blue-Black one in April of 2016, 2 years ago this month.
The Bornite car I imported from Dubai last year, it had been there for about 5 years, after being imported from Japan.
Just to let you know, your coming into the E500E market as it's rising, the buy-in on a decent one is around $20K plus or minus, depending upon mileage and condition.
Good luck on your search, but beware, like other 124's, that many replacement parts are NLA from Mercedes for these marvelous cars, and maintenance can require deep pockets....
Long term ownership costs isn't for the casual owner, you'll need commitment, patience, and money. Without ALL of those 3 things, you shouldn't even start down the rabbit hole...
