'05 E500 wagon
Mystery vacuum nipple on intake manifold

Changing plugs today I noticed a vacuum Barb/ nipple that has nothing connected to it. It's on the manifold flange between fuel inj 4 and 5. Does this need to be going to something?

It's pretty much centered in the picture below.
1995 e320 wagon.

Some are in there from the manufacture .For other items or parts that can be installed for other modesl
