1988 300E
Quicker steering
Can anything be done to "quicken up" the steering on my '88 300E? Great on the highway but most of my driving is around curvy roads. "Turn in" is so slow compared to my other (non sport) cars. It's the only thing about the car I dislike. Would different alignment settings help? I know it's not rack and pinion but is there anything that can be done?

It's fitted with Pirellis and has only 23K miles.

Any suggestions?

Could try to find a SportLine steering box. I know on the 201's the SportLines had quicker steering.
