1990,W124,230E tranny doesn't shift from 2 to 3 when restart hot engin
The tranny runs very well when the engin is cold. Driving for a half hour, then turn off engin and turn on again (engin is hot at this time). The tranny doesn't shift from 2 to 3 at this time. The R.P.M. goes around 3000-4000, but the tranny just doesn't shift from 2 to 3. After turning on engin and waiting about 2 minutes then the tranny becomes normal but the car running a little bit slower and less power. I just change ATF fluid last week. The MB dealer told me that the tranny seems normal. Is the tranny normal ? I doube. Anyone can help me ?
If I don't turn off engin, just shift from "D" to "P" and "P" to "D". The tranny runs in normal. But if I turn off engin and turn on again, the tranny doesn't shift from 2 to 3 stage. Thanks in advance !
