4Matic lowering idea...need opinions

hi guys, ok now we all know that the 4Matic can not be lowered...but this only applies to the 2 front wheels with their unique suspension...so i am thinking...wut if i get all new springs and struts for the rear and just cut the springs in the front, would this work??? Im not sure if my handling will be as bad as cutting all the springs but i know the back will hug the turns and the front will be all ****ty....wut do you guys think about this idea???

I'd like to know where to get supplies and info on how to lower my 89 300 TE. Do you have any clues or links on that? I didn.t know the 4 Matic has a lowering issue. Hope you can figure out.
