Wink New Radiator

Just wondering on a scale of 1-10 how hard is the job of putting in a new radiator in a 1990 MB 300E?

Thanks,
deblaze

Probably a 3. The kühler is easy to remove. Drain the system, remove the hoses, and remove the clips on the cross-member. You should be able to lift it right out.

You're welcome.

One other thing: the fan cowl must be removed or pushed out of the way. There is a plastic tab on the top of the cowl which locks into the top of the radiator. Remove the clips along the sides and top of the cowl, then pull it up so you can push the tab out of the way.

Hey Jer.... I takled it yesterday. It took me 20 minutes, I took out a radiator in a Jag V12 so this job was simple. Thanks again.

Oops. I wish my father talked more to me in German when I was younger. He was from Troisdorf. But I'm getting there!
