Help with correct axle.

So I’m going to try and explain this as best as possible..I own an 84 190e. I have what I believe is the 3.07 rear end swapped in it that came from a 87/88 300e along with the half shafts. I blew an axle apart doing a launch and now finding a replacement has been the hardest thing Iv ever done. Ordered 8 different “300e” axles and they all measure out to about a little more than 25”. Measurement was made fully compressed. My axle that came out of car measures about 24” inches and that one inch makes all the difference. I can’t seem to find the correct axle anywhere that is that length. If anyone could please shed some light and possibly have a link or part number I could use It would be greatly appreciated. I’m going to attach images of the current good axle I pulled out of car.
