Changes to the front grille on a 124
To change your grille to the 1994-95 style and then use a different grille insert there are two options.
Buy a hood with the grille attached from a boneyard and have it painted to match your car, or order an inch thick catalog from Tuning Zubehor, inc. (www.tuningzubehor.com), page 127 offers several options. You will need to install Euro headlight assemblies to upgrade the look. You can always buy a sport grille insert with large, SEC-style, Mercedes star against a black background which fits in your stack chrome grille frame. P.
