Car ( 88 260E) will quit running about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile after starting.
Has done this 3 times. I roll to the side of the road. Twice it restarted immediately, the middle time it started after sitting for about a minute. Runs fine after that. Runs great otherwize. Where do I start? Seems electrical to me.

Looks like you have a similar problem.

I suggest changing all filters first if you haven't changed them in a while, otherwise, I think you should start by checking all wiring related to fuel injection.

Have u checked ur fule pump or relay,i have had this problem,see ur car will start once its kool but as it warms up itll die on u ,then ull wait a min or too and itll start once again

The car finally quit, I isolated the problem down to the fuel pump relay, jumped it out, it ran, bought a new relay for $144 and all is well. Now I am wondering if I can clean the contacts and have a spare relay.
