Your ideal budget?
A good place to look at bodykit is the W124 E-Class Picture Thread, whereby pictures are posted, and if you like what you see, you can try Private Messaging (PM) the owner.

I would definitely go with brabus body kit. In my opinion, it is the most elegant body kit for W124 body style. You can order one from Brabus North America for about $1700. They still carry some body kit parts in stock but you might have to wait 8 weeks if they don't.
any help guys?

Other than that I think I like the Wald. What do you think? Wald or Brabus?
My side panel popped out under the hot sun and cast an urgly shadow on the side skirt
The gold car with the WALD kit doesn't look like the panel is popping, it looks like fitment/install issues of the sideskirts.

Zorro,
Stating Wald is crappy fiberglass is pretty harsh if you don't have one yourself and probably have never seen one in person. I think you meant to say there are alot of crappy fiberglass kits out there. A Wald original although fiberglass is hand laid quality fiberglass which is pretty thick compared to replica kits. I agree with you that no fiberglass is as durable as poly(plastic)
but again you would treat your poly front end in the same manner as I would with my fiberglass. Both of us wouldn't just barrel into any driveway, we would both be cautious to damaging our kit regardless of poly or fiberglass. Another thing to consider is the installation of the fiberglass kits or poly. If not done right they of course will be very flimsy and fragile. I got mine done at a shop that specialices in kit installation. Trust me my kit isn't going anywhere, it's on there solid and I scrape up my driveway everytime due to how low my car is, besides the minor scratches below the air dam, (that couldn't be helped ), my fiberglass front is holding up perfectly. So get a good quality fiberglass or poly kit installation is key. They need to reinforce the mounting brackets etc, just not stick it on. As well the painting/prepping process is different. Painting poly or fiberglass is totally different than metal.

Sorry if you took that personally LOL

Zorro,
No worries bro, I would never take things personal with a fellow Bnzsporter. You know your stuff. I was just trying to really stress that regardless of poly or fiberglass, kit installation and quality products is key. I have to disagree with you on one thing though. Wald by no means is trying to copy AMG.Their kits are entirely different in styling than AMG, more on the aggressive side as well as their front and rear aprons are full replacements while AMG is more add on. Trunk script I agree on is Fugly I wouldn't get it. However, The badges are hella clean, I have those unfortunately I can't use them cuzz they're to big for the W124 hood. I mean it boils down to how you prefer your car to look AMG for the W124 = clean old skewl while Wald & Brabus = more smooth ,modern & aggressive look.
