M.104 running hot?
temperature creeps up to 100 degrees C and sometimes a bit more. At a particularly long light you can watch the needle go up. The auxiliary fans kick in at about 105 C. Is this normal? I have replaced the thermostat, radiator, radiator cap, coolant (M
ercedes blue) and the fan clutch recently. My car is 1992 300CE with 3.0L M.104 engine. The photo was taken with the ambient temperature around 90 degrees F and the air conditioning on. I don't know if it is a related issue. The car is difficult to start when hot, especially if it has been sitting for 15 minutes or so. Fuel pressure seems to be good. Thanks for any advice.
