1995 e420
Car not starting
Hey guys my buddies car is not starting for some reason anymore. He’s got a 1994 Mercedes e420. He recently swapped the tranny from another e420 1995. We checked the spark plugs they are getting voltage. The starter is spinning. Any clues to what might be the issue here?

Did you touch the ring gear or flex plate during the swap? That's probably the only thing that could happened that I can think of that would create an issue. Did it ever start after the swap? Does it have an old crusty engine harness?
