EZL issues?

EZL issues?
1992 300ce 3.0L 24V M104 w/ CIS. Went out one morning to find my car wouldn’t start. Ran perfectly the day before. No spark. Replaced the crank positioning sensor. Still no spark. Replaced the coil and EZL (rebuilt from Rebuild Master Tech). The car starts now, but the idle is high 1200 - 1700 rpm depending on engine temp. The car runs pretty good under normal driving. It has a big stumble under full throttle. Not every time, but 1 out of 4 times when it is floored. I also feel a miss at highway speeds under constant throttle and this too is intermittent. Checked for vacuum leaks and didn’t find any. Rebuild Master Tech is pretty insistent that the EZL is good and think the problem is with the fuel injection, The car ran great before the no spark problem and we haven’t touched anything on that side of the engine. I am inclined to replace the EZL again, but any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks

I know of people that have had the EZL rebuilt before,, just like you., three times in a row ,,and still had problems . You need a good used original Siemens EZL with exactly the same numbers as the one you removed ..

You cannot properly diagnose correctly any w124 92-96,97 that still has the eco wiring harness in place.
This also includes the TB and the lower harness.
