HELP!
Our 95 e320 wagon won't start - the starter will not engage. The battery is charged, the headlights work. These are the symptoms -

- The power seats don't work
- the windows work and the heater fan works
- when the ignition switch is put in the #2 position ( engage starter ) the wiper goes on and the ambient temp readout flashes

I've checked the fuses and they look good. The fusible link is good.

It seems to me something is being grounded out.

Any ideas?

I was led astray - my buddy said the battery was charged.

However the battery was bad - it would not hold a charge.

The car is running again.
