300E limp mode
Hey everyone I have a 1993 300E with the m104. The wiring harness HAS been replaced. I know there are a million threads on here about this but it is kind of an emergency. The car has been flawless for me. Never an issue. I had it listed for sale. A guy came down, test drove it, and bought it. The car was perfect on the test drive. The guy drives away and 3 minutes later I get a call saying that the car is in limp mode, stuck in second, with the ASR light on. I have replaced the OVP previously which I know causes this. He drove back and demanded I give him his money back. I turned off the car and the ASR light off but a short drive and it was back. I really need the car gone. I just bought another project and do not have room for this car. Any help would be much appreciated. Again I know there are forums like this but it would be helpful to not have to read through everything. Thanks

I thought I might also add that the light for a light on the car being out was on and the light for the brakes comes on and off intermittently it seems like it does that when you press the brakes.
