Driver Door Lock
I've been off this forum for a few months. In July I took out a deer with my glorious 87 300e, and the deer reciprocated in kind. Write-off. But insurance gave me what I paid for the car, and I got a year and a half and 60K km, or 40 thousand miles out of her. Now I have an 89 te wagon, which has over twice the mileage of my 87. It's at 389,000 km and still going strong, but it also shows its age, whereas my 87, although two years older, was close to mint. A few minor things to fix, beginning with the driver door lock. Nothing happens when I turn the key. All the other switches work fine, so I don't think it's a vacuum problem. Any ideas?
