driver memory power seat getting freaky
Hi every one,
I need real help here guys cause its greeting freaky. I have a 1994 w124 cabriolet e320 and the driver seat comes with memory option. Everything was fine till I decided to renew the seats leather. So, what happed is:
1. Seats out.
2. Cleaned the channels and all mechanism with gasoline.
3. Used external power source to move the seats in different positions for cleaning job.
4. Driver seat was powered from direct connection of outer source to the motors while the memory module was completely isolated.
5. Done the upholstery and refitted the seats and there was the problem.
6. Passenger non memory works fine.
7. Driver seats works freaky by itself reversing or forwarding my command …..it’s crazy.
8. Does it require to be reprogramed or what.
9. Haven’t seen any motion sensors to detect the location of the seat for memory work.
10. Disconnected the car battery for an hour and connect back and still the same thing.
11. What’s wrong with my driver seat kindly and what to do plzzzzzzzzz.
