Exclamation steering wheel question

Yo i want a new steering wheel in the near future and was wondering if i could put the steeringwheel from a 2003 SL class benz on my 1994 E320?
And if i can will i be able to connect the volume controls and other buttons to the car? thanks

With enough time and money, anything can be done. The more money you have, the less time it takes.

I would imagine that your biggest problems in this would be 1) the airbag hookup; 2) modifying the horn contact ring/boss; 3) getting a wiring loom to work the buttons.

On your particular vehicle, a steering wheel from any 1992-1999 (non-command style) steering wheel will bolt on and will keep the functionality of the airbag. You most likely would need the horn/contact ring from your old steerging wheel though.

I installed a 1999 CLK55 wheel/airbag on a 1992 190E which you can view at www.2phast.com/190e
