Huge Improvement indeed. Yeah, I was going to paint the latch or whatever too but I just tucked it in a little bit more so you cant see it.

Good Job

It looks great. It really makes the chrome pop out. I also replaced the chrome strips. They are very inexpensive and the new ones have no nicks or dents from road debris.

Looking good, man! I painted my grill body color (pearl black) before I did the custom one....huge improvement over the faded dull grey now isn't it?

Thanks guys. I'm pretty stoked about how the grill looks myself. I might be ordering a new one with new chrome grill inserts and do a better job. I'm pretty happpy though. Looks way nice. now I just need to take care of those lights. lol

Exclamation

Tip: If anyone is planning on painting a new grill, make very sure that you clean it well. There are mold release agents that may still be there that will cause the paint to not adhere properly. Don't ask me how I know.

Yeah, I had to clean it big time...but I think I cleaned it good enough though. I'm getting a new grill sometime soon so I didnt really care if I didnt clean it that well. what did you use to clean yours?
