Trigger happy roll bar on 93 300ce
I Inherited a 93 300ce. Beautiful car. Have been working through it, fixing everything we find. Using Mercedes Dealership (that's a whole horror movie right there it turns out).
Anywayyyy.... One of the last items is the roll bar being overly sensitive and triggering the system to snap up in a Right Turn or simply normal acceleration from a stop... Under the back seat are three controllers (at least). Is there a place that can diagnose if a controller is bad? The Dealer here in Seattle has been a cluster of clownish and unprofessional activity... What LOOKS like the acceleration sensor wasn't even bolted in... Just sorta laying there half on its side. I thought bolting it down would end the problem... But no, it didn't. So it's back to the drawing board on this issue.
Would love to find a training manual for Mercedes mechanic explaining the system and troubleshooting it. Or a place that can diagnose a controller. Might as well diagnose all of them. But THIS one especially. The problem might be complex, but it also might be something very simple.
Thanks all.

Too bad, the dealership parts people are solid here in the San Jose dealership. I have been using them for 35 years now for my W201 and W124's. BTW, I'm an original owner not a mechanic.
A 1993 is the transition period from M103 to M104 engine and KE-jetronic to HFM electronic injection.
Tell us what you have and do you have the biodegradable wiring harness (KE-jetronic would not HFM electronic unfortunately would have the ticking time bomb)
