1987 MBZ 300D Turbo W124

I own several cars but my most reliable and forever dependable car is my 1987 Mercedes 300D Turbo W124 with 387,000 original miles and ran absolutely fantastic with zero issues. A bad water pump last month got replaced. I also changed the fan clutch, the belt, radiator cap, flushed the radiator through a local radiation shop. Checked the motor oil with zero moisture of any water. But now it runs hat and after driving it for 30 minutes it starts to get hot real hot. I've also release any possible air trapped. Block and the head leakdown test turns is great. Why its running hot. This is my 2nd water pump for suspecting may be the first one I changed was defective. What can be wrong? Pleae help. Thanks.
