Where to buy body panel and trim parts?

Hi all.. I've been up and down german star and other sites I've found through the search engine and couldn't find a decent place that offers (with pictures) body panel & trim parts.

Do you guys recommend of any? I need to buy the small trim piece and corresponding clips for my W124 91 300E. The trim piece is the 2" x 7" (approx) piece by the rear passenger doors. It has a small chrome strip to continue the chrome strip along the lower part of the molding.

I already have the trim piece (grey), but need the chrome piece (it's not included in the $100 grey trim piece!!) and corresponding clips inside.

Thanks for all your help.

(BTW, I have an exact post on mbnz.org)

What's wrong with your local dealer? I'm sure the piece isn't too $$$.

Used you could try Potomac Auto in Maryland and Florida...search online for them.

Thanks for the response, Jim. My dealer wants $60 for the little chrome piece, which isn't included in the grey plastic trim piece for which I paid $100 already.

I'll see what Potomac offers.

Hmmm...seems high...I paid around $30 for the chrome trim strip in the passenger front door (its a few feet long)

Try this dealer in CT for another price new...they will ship cheap also...1 (800) 437-3361...wholesale price if you are a MBCA member. Drop my name...wink, wink

For the trim piece on the rear right fender, I expected to pay around $100. But I didn't expect it NOT to come with the chrome piece and the chrome piece costing $60 being only 1" to 1.5" long!

Thanks for the help, Jim. I'll give the CT dealer a call. Thanks much!
