I have a 1997 E320. 50k. I have a "sloshing" sound that seems to eminate from the floor on the passenger side. It occurs on rapid acceleration or deceleration. It sounds as if water is in a body panel or the venting system. My thought was that water entered into the vents during a car wash, but that is only speculation. Water does not drain, and there does not seem to be any seeping, or wet areas underneath the body. has anyone ever run into this, or have any sugesstions? Your input is appreciated.

Just unplug the drain holes under the rocker panels. You just have to push a little button (as it seems) and water will start coming out.
