SusSuspension upgrade (OEM) on engine swapped CE124

Hi guys,

I am looking for some advise regarding an upgrade of my suspension. I have a 1991 coupe, that was originally with an M102 2 liter motor, that I've swapped to an M103 3.0 last January.

For this year my plan is to update the suspension, the current state of it isn't great and repairs are due.

What I can't figure-out is if there are major differences between the suspension on the 2.0 cars and the 3.0 ones - besides shocks and springs which I already changed, at the front, as the new engine is much heavier.

So what I am looking to change is front and rear suspension components, most likely all of them so rods, bushings, ball joints, sway bar etc.

Is there a difference between the ones for the 3.0 M103 and the ones I have currently? If there is a difference, can I mount the beefier ones from the M103 straight away, or do I also need to change control arms and subframe?

Last but not least, I am planning to by OEM parts from MB as they should have in stock - is this the best option or there are better after market ones?

Thanks guys
