Can some one pls tell me what this Is

On the passengers side next to the computer where the relays are, I found a RELAY with A 10 AMP fuse,can some one pls tell me what purpose does that relay and fuse serve.Thnak you. Its a 300 ce 1989 3.0

If you are talking about the parts located behind the battery, what you describe is the OVP relay. (Over Voltage Protector).
This relay protects the various components from damages resulting from electrical current spikes (over voltage).
It has a very bad reputation and is frequently wrongly accused of being the cause of sorts of problems, from poor handling to bad breath.

Whats funny Is as I changed that amp Ive noticed these things
1-my car starts alot better dont have to crank it many times
2-my rpms stay at an even 9-10
3-when starting my car Im able to drive off emidateley,car doesnt bog or hesitate like as if its being chocked.
4-my lights seem much brighter.
So far this is what Ive noticed...
now I dont undertsand how that amp has an effect on my handdling ..u meotined some thing about bad breath..pls elaberate.

I think what he's trying to say is that since the OVP regulates the flow of electricity to the computer, it can cause any number of elcetrical porblems.
