Headlight and other mods

I have a 87 300E, I want to replace the headlights, but have no idea where to get a good deal and which ones I should get. Bekkers has eurolights for like 614 comes out to like 740 canadian. Way to much!! Is a kit the way to go will it solve everything?

Also where can I find Intrax lowering springs, around 1.75 drop? Went here but it doesn't give a size! http://www.seffects.com/parts/INT501010.htm

Well on ebay they have these all the time

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710

Those auctions seem to include many necessary parts including the trim piece below the headlight for non wiper apps....that book by stu ritter "w124 owner's bible" explains what's needed to swap out the headlight assemblies by going to a euro spec...and has some sort of step by step deal too.

But I am not 100% sure about that brand and quality of the ones listed in auction, but if cost is a concern what the hell.

If you were just replacing to oem http://www.importpartsonline.com has the bosche us spec ones...this is where i bought my new replacement oem frames...

W124's
I don't recommend you getting Intrax springs...do you also plan on replacing your shocks as well? If you dont, I hope you enjoy the bumpiest ride ever.

Look into Eibach and H & R. I never really liked Intrax.
