nice car, looks like you put in a lot of work. Did the coolant leak damage the piston rings at all?

Nice car. How was your shopping experience? Did you see the car before you paid for it? was it close to your residence or did you have to transport it?

I flew to Dallas, TX and another flight to Austin, TX all the way from Chicago. I paid my friends ticket and trip back to Chicago took 15 1/2 hours with ONLY 1 ticket(100mph) for $250 in Oklahoma. I never saw that car before and since I already paid for it, I said, I'll take it. It was 10PM in Austin at the time of arrival and we drove to the nearest gas station - MOBILE, I think - and didn't see anything unusual until I was back in Chicago. The guy, previous owner - MARC REVIEL (Chief Engineering for Macintosh Computers) - put some kind of blankets on the top of under-engine plastic cover and the whole oil was just accumulating in there. That was pathetic...and guess what, he said he never knew about a thing. Now, in Chicago we have 10 degrees and I have no idea how that happen but my baby developed another leak between the engine and transmission. I'm just getting more aggravated with this car. I guess I'm trying to hard to love this car and it's just not working for me. In couple days I'll show you the pictures of my engine cover. Hope you all gonna like it. - Jack -
