Could it be the brakes aren't releasing immediately? One way to test is to stop on a grade in neutral, then see if the car starts rolling after you release the brakes.

Does the motor rev freely in Neutral? Does it feel like it has full power when you get to forth gear?

There are so many small things........Kestas could be right you could have a frozen caliper. I was thinking you may have a clogged cat or a blocked muffler. Could have a throttle sensor going bad.

Milage will tell a tell of a clogged cat......then check the ammount of exhaust coming out of the tail pipe. There should be a instant rush when you rev the motor. Sound=volume and you should make fairly easy judgment call. If they are clogged use performance aftermarket Cats.......they are considerably Cheaper. www.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com.
