Need your input on keyless entry for 93 400E
Do I go with the Bergwerks system?
Or do I go with another aftermarket keyless entry? Remote start would be nice...has anyone made it work with the factory alarm? A serach of old posts gives some lukewarm results on this. Some people say it should just work right out of the box, others have had problems.
What do you think?

i have a remote start and keyless entry system!!! mines a 94.... the alarm system i am using is still factory.... works the same way as if you were locking the car with the key. once the doors are locked... (remote or blade) the factory alarm activates... and vice versa when unlocking/unarming...
im very pleased with the system i got... i cost me $300 bucks installed.. i got it installed at a place called kc trends.... the westcoast customs of the midwest... or atleast the closest thing to it out here in kansas city...
just make sure you go to a place that knows what they are doing... you could probably get a system at bestbuy or circuit city for 150-200 w/ free installation, but for me.... i didnt want to take the risk of an 18-19 (nothing against 18-19 year olds) year old ****ing up my electrical system......
the system i have is made by a clarion company called, Ungo Pro Security.. the model is RK1. get a system... youll be very pleased!!
