Old-New Project... Cylinder Head Covers.

It took BLACK base paint, Mercedes-Benz decal I bought on eBay and 6(six) coats of clear, wet sanding and finally buffing... the finish???? Beautiful - and I like it. What you think?
more pics....

...here's the rear cover your talking about and I don't see a big deal why wouldn't you be able to take it off and replace your corner light my friend (...and to tell you the truth I don't think that's a good reason to scream at other members.) Just take this cover off and you'll know the rest - that's all, and yes you proved to all others that that's one of the differences between 300E and E320.

GORBETTTEAM, the cylinder head covers look absolutely amazing. Good work. Also love what you done with the valve cover after looking at your pictures in yahoo. Considering doing this myself since the weather here has been pretty nice to work on cars. Keep up the good work. Any other future mods?

Where can I find the cover that goes over the coils? Mine was lost before I purchased the car.

Thanks

Hey that would be awesome. I hate the look of mine without it but I didn't even know where to start to find one.

Thanks

DAMN YOU!! The M104 looks so much nicer than the M103 (especially after your pro treatment)

Not to hijack this thread but if someone has any pics of refinished M103 covers, i'd be grateful! (unless GORBETTTEAM objects lol)

Me....? Object? LOL
I would definitely would like to see what others could come up with even if it's refinished M103 cover. This Forum is all about 124 chassis, so bring it on guys...show us what you have. - Jack -

Brian...I'm sorry but I was away for a week. I've got that cover for you. Do you want me to paint that cover for you? If your answer is:...yes, let me know the color.
