the hood or the lights?
i know how to do both.
the lights need the markers removed 1st. then they expose 2 8mm screws. then there is 1 screw next to the radiator fans and the top plastic aduster screw. also u need to unplug the plug on the lights and the wiper motors. you also need to remove the wipers and the little metal peices below the lights that u bought replacements for.
putting them back in is really fun. especially trying to get that 1 screw by the radiator fans
and if u didnt know u have to remove the airbox cover for the passenger side light. that will expose the back of that light and the sidemarkers need you to squeeze the plastic locks together while pushing from behind.

btw that screw is impossible to deal with, especially on the passenger side. i cant begin to tell you how much cussing and swearing was spent on that.

W124's
hmm...I'm not getting a hood for awhile since it's not important. The HID's not until after I get wheels since I'm fine with the new PIAA Xtreme White bulbs I got. Don't really feel like paying for labor too since it's practically a DIY job.
What did you use to take out the side screws?

a special wrench they had at that shop. b4 that i used anything and everything i could find and replaced that screw 2x's
it is diy if you have tons of patience for that 1 darn screw. everything else is straight forward except that screw. and without a special wrench plan an hour to put it back in. yup it is a pain in the **** to put back in. taking out is easy if u buy another screw. just mangle it with bent needle nose.

Eric,
Where's your buddie's shop in Pasadena? I can't find anybody that knows how to re-align my W124 hood. It's a lil off by the back hinges, it sticks up a
tad. Let me know I live in Pasadena but never heard of this shop.
thanks,
~Cali
