Am looking for the European style front bumper inserts without side marker lights. I understand evosport.com has them for around $375 a pair. Have heard autowerksexpress.com has them but they have yet to respond to an email. Not a good sign.

My body shop will install them for around $40.

Are these a factory item that can be ordered thru my dealer? Anyone have a part number?

I have seen them with and without the chrome trim.

You Cannot Buy them thru any USA MB dealer Non USA part number.....I tried this thru several USA dealers and no luck !
They are VERY easy to install..and come pre Painted !!

BTW ALL Late W210s have Chrome inserts on the Impact Inserts
The Early w210s did not have them and aftermarkit bumpers do not have them..Brabus...ETC

Am bringing this back to the top. Not getting enough info. about the bumper impact strips. I've been told evosport, bekkers, autowerkesexpress, but have not received any solid info.

Where are you guys getting these "Euro" strips? I have been told they are available pre-painted. Looks so much better than clear lens or painted lens.

You California guys help me out! I am out here in no-man's land when it comes to finding decent parts for Benz.

Btw They do look better than the Ugly USA Markers!!

 

Randall at autowerksexpress says they are not available for 210 because Euro and US bumpers are different. DAMN!

I will keep digging.

Any other ideas out there?

 

OT: What exactly is a Euro Bumper Insert or Euro Impact Strip?? Is this a complete bumper set?

No, not the whole bumper. Just the 2-3" wide inserts or strips that wrap around from the front to the side where the amber side marker lights are installed. They install into the bumper cover.

Thanks for all your help. I ordered the bumper inserts from Steve yesterday. He says I should have them in about 2 weeks.

Got to find one of those plastic wedge things at a glass shop.

Will post pics as soon as I get them installed.
