Brabus wheels!

Ok last week a guy in a jaguar flagged me down and gave me his card. this guy owns a body shop and said he has a set of 4 18" authentic brabus wheels painted and tires he needs to get em out of the shop I can have them for $300.00 (of course upon reciept). I'm going today to get them not sure what style but for this price it really doesnt matter Hell i would buy them if they were fake. I will post the outcome later today. My lowenhart 19's arent cutting it anymore I have been repairing constantly due to the road conditions here

Yeah I have had all rims repaired a least twice and one 3 times! I am sick and tired of them!

Whitey/anyone know what spacers i will need to get the offset look I had with the 9.5 br5's the monoblocks are from an S class I also read in a thread that I will need spacers in the front to prevent rubbing. I would like to get the rear ligned up with the fender its (rolled).

Anyone know what size bolts?

Wowie, they're a bargain!

What width and offset are they now? I can give you exact spacer required once you give me the size of the wheels. S offset is like ET41-43...you'll need at least 10mm spacers...but I'll need to know the width to be a little more precise.

If they came from an S, you might have the issue of the 14mm vs 12mm bolt (E spec) that we've been discussing endlessly but it's been done. As said, I wouldn't do it given the choice but I understand you can get special bolts to make it work...or else I can give you instructions on how to mod a 12mm bolt to fit...but that'll be a hassle and I'm not sure if I can show u over the web......

Lowenhart's are US$4000's?????? They're less than half here, considered cheap wheels here in Asia..... Hahahha, I could have sent u some, with shipping they'd still be cheaper........

$4000 would be cheap. mine (chrome BR5) were about $1500 each for the rear 9.5x19 and $1100 for the front 8.5x19.

I will get the numbers off the back of the rim to determine the exact setup of these they are 8.5x18 and from S class.

Yep, I could've gotten u diamond cut ones for less....much less.

Mmmmm, 8.5" all round? U might need even thicker spacers then...but luckily, Brabus do have original ones so they fit perfect....expensive tho It was either bad ethics or ignorance to sell you wheels with 14mm bolt holes tho....anyway, we can hopefully make it work....wish u luck bro.

OK here is the scoop

412-858-35

8.5Jx18h2

ET 35

I really like the offset look and would like to space the rear out to fender if possible. I have seen some spacers on ebay pretty cheap!

If you know the right bolt size that would help a great deal too

thanx for the help !

Yes, I know exactly what you are trying to achieve and I have been there.

In that case, its cool - 10mm for the rears, the fronts will be fine without any. Slap some 255's in the back (I presume you'll be usuing 235's in the front) and you'll get a staggered kinda look. I wouldn't use the cheap spacers, simply for safety..original Brabus if possible or else, other good hubcentric spacers (e.g. H&R) are the only way to go.

You sure the wheels came off an S? If not, then you're fine with the bolts, just need longer ones.......

not sure on the model there from? The guy thought they were from an S??? so I'll be cool with the front with ET 35!

I know that the rim does not fit "hub centric" since I have allready tried to get them on and there is some play once on the hub I suppose they couldnt correct this issue by having a different measurment on each side which would you recommend I order for E , S or?

Noooooo....you will regret...the 265's will look like they will fall off...in fact, they MAY fall off!

BTW, I don't understand why they won't fit "hubcentric"....maybe you had the OEM hubcentric rings removed to fit the Lowenharts (as I have with mine). Did you see a silver colored ring in the center of the hub? If not, then they have been removed DO NOT DRIVE WITH THEM ON WITHOUT THE RINGS!!!!!!!!!

You will need to get those in order for your wheels to fit safetly. However, you won't need them if you use spacers for the rears cuz you will have to take them off to fit the spacer anyway and the hubcentric spacer should take care of the fit onto the rim.

10mm, maybe 12mm if you like - my calculations tell me your fender clearance can afford up to 15mm but I'd not recommend such a thick spacer. Do check the rings cuz it sounds like you're missing them....to clarify, you will only need a pair for the fronts if you're doing hubcentric spacers.

called brabus and ordered the hardware kit which includes 10mm spacers and bolts for all 4 wheels apparently all i needed was 2 $10.00 brabus hub rings to correct the hubcentric problem.

Well it could have worked out cheaply if i just ended up with the rings but I went ahead and ordered a "hardware kit" bolts and 10mm spacers all around will not need the rings with the right spacers (2 different versions of these 1 piece rims) not sure on price yet around $300.00 they are going to email me the total.
