97 E320 - Where is the thermostat?
Hi all, Thinking I'll change the thermostat while I'm changing the coolant... Where is it? Is it that device in the front right of the radiator that has 2 1.5 inch hoses, and electrical plug and a small tube in it? Is it inside of that domed metal cover? Looks like an easy location if that's it. Any help or issues that I'll encounter would be appreciated. Thanks.

yes, that's the housing of the thermostat, where you'll see three bolts around it. When you do replace the thermostat, make sure you have new gasket cuz it's a rubber gasket that need to be replace. It's an easy job, cuz I did mine myself, saved a lot of money from not having it done at Dealership.
