300 miles with fulltank (18 gal.) on 96 -E320
With mine 96 E320 with fulltank i make 300 miles.
For me looks not so good.Whats the average milege on 96 E320??????ANYBODY

That sounds about right. Ironically that I just filled up my tank and I'm getting about 327 miles to a tank.

That's about right, on my 98 E320, I got around 300-310 miles between fill-up (~14 gal), and guess what, my 04 E320 got similar gas mileage too !! This for SoCal stop-and-go traffic
For out-ot-tow trip, I once got more than 400 mile (trip to Davis) in one gas tank, but most of the the time, it's around 350-360 miles between fill-up

same here
I used to get 450 miles when using Shell gas (400 when using sunnaco or about 380 when usuing mobil) and going only highways, but now that i am just travelling local i get about 300.

The spec of the car (you can see it on the door panel or manual) states that the gas tank is only 17 gallons. How can yours hold 23 ?

I just posted a career high 440 miles on a highway trip!!! I had just under 1/4 tank left (Hess 93 octane gas) when I filled it up and calculated the average at just over 27 mpg. And that's with a set of blizzaks on the car! It's a 97 E320 with 114,000 miles. It was just after an oil change, all highway driving with the cruise control set on 75mph. I noticed my mileage got significantly better after I changed the plugs and connectors last summer and started running Techron through the tank twice a year.

wow.. that is good. mine is also a 97. it used to do that if i was easy on it. now it sucks the gas like crazy... stereo and wheels i guess... plus me driving
