PROBLEM
I was mounting the wheels on myself. I used no spacers what so ever I believe correct offset is 35. Seems like the front wheels fit fine with no problem with fitment. The rear wheel makes a clicking sound. I had someone look if its hitting anything and everything clears. Please help with advice. Thanks.

Do I need to buy spacers for correct fitment? If so where can I buy them in socal and can i install them myself?

 

Your bolts are too long in the rear and hitting the park brake inside....don't drive with it like that. good luck!

Find shorter bolts. Sorry busy right now but do a search on "bolts" and there are many links to places that have them.

Can i just get a dremmel and shorten the bolts myself?

 

I guess so, but that''l make them prone to rusting...question also is by how much? The best test is, if u still have your stock wheels and bolts (assuming they are different to the ones ur using now), pass the stock bolt thru the stock wheel and measure the protrusion on the other side - that's the amount of thread u will need on the bolts u have now with the Brabuses...good luck.

The member jk2s, identified as Chris with email address jk2s@aol.com and cell phone 760-686-3335, agreed to purchase the item and paid with a credit card via PayPal under haigska@hotmail.com, his friend’s account as the buyer doesn’t have an account with PayPal.

The item was arranged and picked up, right after the payment was completed, on the night of 02/24/05. However, the next day 02/25/05, I received an email from PayPal with an alert that I may be the recipient of potentially unauthorized funds as Haig Derboghossian, haigska@hotmail.com now claims that he has not bought any rims nor does he intend to (PayPal Case ID PP-069-149-182). As a result, the fund was reversed back to Haig Derboghossian, haigska@hotmail.com per PayPal policy.

This member jk2s with a real name Chris Santos, has cancelled both his AOL membership jk2s@aol.com and his cell phone service 760-686-3335 a few days after this fraudulent activity. The police has made many visits to this suspect’s neighborhood and his house in Riverside, CA but unable to find him nor his car.

The case is being investigated by the Riverside Police Department, case number: P2050600091. In addition, it’s also reported to the West Covina Police Department and more importantly, the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC/FBI) at http://www.ifccfbi.gov/cf1.asp for further investigations. As the case is being investigated, I feel it’s important to post an alert on this forum so that no one else will be trapped from this scam. I will prosecute this member jk2s or Chris once I have him detained as I have all strong relevant documents on file, including my cell phone bill, cancellation of his AOL membership and his cell phone service right after this fraudulent activity.

 

Wow...that's scarey but it is the internet I guess. Maybe you should get this posted as a sticky in all forums instead of just one of his posts.

Thats a real life crime drama,and like dave stated,its more and more prevalent.It sounds like(Im retired NYPD) you have your bases covered nicely and I wish you could have the satisfaction of having that worm resist arrest,true retribution.Good luck,let us know what develops.

 

Whitey, I have also posted this fraud alert in the Classified section. I have obtained a lot more strong info for my prosecution. I'll let you and this MBWorld forums know when we get this dude detained as well as how the case will be ended...I really wanna see this dude spend some years in jail. Before, I want my rims back but now I want this fraudulent dude...Take care.

 

Oh man,that **** happens every day,every single day.If anybody pays you via Pay Pal or any different internet company and then they say its my friends or mamas or lovers,you should know its SCAM.
In the future if you going to sell anything,and you want get paid thru Pay Pal,make sure its his (buyers) Pay Pal,not his friends or cousins,and if he wants to pick up the item ask him to bring ID,and if his going to say i will send my brother or friend tell him forget this,couse automaticly its SCAM.
