***new Projectors Style!!!! ***
I'm suprise that the price is the same as the chrome version, since it must have cost quite a bit to paint/chrome the headlight housing.
However, I think it would look nice on black car with blacken grill.

the black version is not designed to accept an HID retro easily, should you
decide. The Depo projector version is of better quality, and the housing
allows for easy converison to HID.

but they're a far cry from the Depo in terms of quality. I finally saw the non-
Depo version and I agree with Zam.

and yes richard thats me......alexbenz will be back shortly.....
I've only used the E55 bix projectors given their utter simplicity with the Deop.
Hope yours is with similiar ease....though the beam pattern should be better.

between that and the so-so reflector, the beam spread I had was segmented
from left to right. so even if you inserted in a Silverstar or Blue Vision et al,
you just get slightly brighter segmented beams. (roughly $50)
Zam's strong recommendation is to forego the Depo projector lens and try
to find a Hella brand halogen lens and to fit that on. (roughly $100)
next upgrade would be to spend more creativity and labor and in dropping in
an HID, ballast, D2S taken off RS6 or E55 (roughly $4-500)
prices above are in addition to the Depo headlight units themselves ($300)

two of them in your hand and put them in front of your eyes, you look
look a computer geek. those ones...
those are one of the crucial links of the HID package. have a poorly designed
lens and your beam can go to heck. it's this thing that focuses and channels
the light and projects out into the darkness.
