Question about Fitment of Avic-N1

I will like to install my new Pioneer Avic-N1 in the pocket under the factory radio. Does anyone knows if it will fit and still be able to close the compartment lid???
I think I saw one OR two people do it....

Awtrot's is just a navigation screen....
I think someone else in here have a TV unit installed in the pocket.

*Incase U are wondering why I'm not just swapping the factory radio...
Its to prevent would be thieves from breaking in.....
....the factory radio will just be a dummy

cheeers!

S, GL, Escalade ESV, my shoes
It won't fit straight in. The monitor doesn't come out far enough to clear the door (when it opens).

You will either have to modify the door (so that it simply just close, but not press-and-lock), or a custom housing or the Avic-N1 so that the whole unit could come out a bit when you decide to turn on the screen.

It was PITA for me when I installed the TV in that pocket compactment, finally found a Clarion unit that have the monitor come out far enough.
