Brake Pads

This morning, on my drive to work, as I exited interstate, the ABS, ESP and BAS warning came on in my 01 E320.

Would the brake pad sensors cause this warning to come on if new pads are needed?

When I got to work, I turned the car off, then restarted. I pressed the brakes, but no new warning.

Nothing is wrong woth your car. I say ignore it. On my 2000 E320 it came on 4 month ago and it never happened again after switching off the car and turnining it back on. However, make sure you reset it by turing the stearing column all the way to the right and then all the way to the left. Check your operator manual for this one. It shows how to reset it. When it happened on mine, i had to press my brakes too hard that day to avoid a collision. 5 minutes later the warning lights came on. It did nto happened again in 4 months and after talking to the mechanic, it is possible that the brake pads are due for a replacement. But onyl if it happens again he asked me to bring it by. I say do not worry about it.
